DANBURY, Conn. - Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday.  The 18th overall and fourth Wolves of the Week of 2025 have been selected thanks to their strong performances on the basketball court. Men's basketball senior Cameron Gallon (York, Pa.) and women's basketball senior Nicole Peralta (North Windham, Conn.) have been named as the Wolves of the Week.

Gallon poured in 26 points, making nine of 14 shots from the floor, four of seven from long range, and all four of his free throws while grabbing seven rebounds in WestConn's 89-65 win over Little East Conference (LEC) rival Plymouth State on Saturday.   He is averaging 11 points to go along with 5.7 rebounds per game this winter.  WestConn returns to conference action tonight with a 7 p.m. game at UMass-Boston.
