DANBURY, Conn. Each week, WestConn Athletics selects one female and one male student-athlete as the Wolves of the Week, recognizing their outstanding performances in their respective sports from the previous week. The honorees are announced every Wednesday.  The sixth Wolves of the Week of 2024 fall season have been selected thanks to their strong performances on the golf and tennis courts. Tennis senior Sophie Charbonneau (Watertown, Conn.) and golf sophomore Tim Larson (New Milford, Conn) have been named as the Wolves of the Week.

Charbonneau went 4-0 in singles in doubles over the weekend, winning in doubles with partner Sarah Cipriano against both UMass Dartmouth and Southern Maine, while taking her singles match in three sets against the Corsairs and by a score of 6-0, 6-0 against the Huskies.  Larson shot a 151 to earn sixth on the leaderboard at the Little East Championship Tournament at Keene State, leading the Wolves to a best-ever, third-place finish. Larosn shot a 75 on day one and a 76 in the second round and will earn LEC All-Conference honors.
