MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Senior
Darline Fleurimond (Stamford, Conn.) finished 13th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.62, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves competed in the Wesleyan University Women's Indoor Track and Field Invitational this afternoon at Bacon Field House. WestConn, which also had five other top-20 finishes in the meet, will be back in action on February 7 and 8 at Boston College's Showdown at The Heights.
Two Wolves were among the top 15 runners in the mile run, including a 14th-place time of 6:51.70 by junior
Alexandra O'Meara (Wolcott, Conn.) and a 16th-place time of 7:2.11 by senior
Vivian Pereira (Bethel, Conn.). In the 400 meters, freshman WestConn freshman
Caitlin Milks (Sandy Hook, Conn.) was 15th, Fleurimond was 16th, and sophomore
Alanah Townsend (Windsor, Conn.) came in 18th place.
