WALTHAM, Mass. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves opened the new year in the Reggie Poyau Women's Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Brandeis University this afternoon.  Senior Darline Fleurimond (Stamford, Conn.) highlighted the Wolves' individual efforts with top-16 finishes in the 60- and 300-meter races, posting a 10th-place time of 47.03 in the 300 meters and a 16th-place time of 8.73 in the 60 meters.  WestConn freshman Caitlin Milks (Sandy Hook, Conn.) was 23rd in the 300 meters at 51.50 and senior teammate Vivian Pereira (Bethel, Conn.) came in 23rd in the 1,000-meter run at 7:18.76.  WestConn heads to the Wesleyan Invitational next on Saturday, January 18.
