NEW LONDON, Conn. - Western Connecticut State University freshman
Anthony Paulino (Bristol, Conn.) won the long jump on day one of the New England Division III Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship Meet at the United States Coast Guard Academy this weekend. Paulino cleared a distance of 23'04.00" to win the event by .01 meters and puts him 26h in the nation and seventh nationally among freshman. His score gave the Wolves 10 points in the team standings, which tied them with Amherst, Suffolk, and Johnson State in 24th place. WestConn's 4x100-meter relay consisting of Paulino, seniors
