DARTMOUTH, Mass. - Freshman
Anthony Paulino (Bristol, Conn.) finished fourth in the long jump and seventh in the triple jump, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves competed in the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship Meet at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth this afternoon. Paulino's fourth-place finish gave WestConn four points and the Wolves earned sixth in the 4x100-meter relay to collect another point and give the Wolves five total points in the team standings. He was name dto the LEC All-Rookie Team for his performance.
Paulino posted a distance of 6.59 meters in the long jump and 12.62 meters in the triple jump. WestConn senior
Nick Howlett (North Haven, Conn.) added a seventh-place time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and freshman
Jeferson Encarnacion (Bridgeport, Conn.) was ninth in the high jump. Freshman
Marciel Do Amaral (Danbury, Conn.) finished 10th in the 110-meter hurdles and sophomore
Kenneth Scholl () highlighted the throws with a 13th-place distance of 31.77 meters in the discus throw.
