WestConn jumped out to a 9-0 lead with a first quarter barrage and would not look back. Duque got the run started with his 18th marker of the season before completing his hat trick to round out the opening stanza.
It was Starrett's turn to shine in the second quarter. He erupted to sink four goals, extending the Wolves' lead to 17-2 shortly before halftime. Cinotti notched his first goal of the campaign late in the third before earning his hat trick with a pair in the fourth.
WestConn peppered the Huskies with 66 shots, 55 ground ball victories and a 27-7 faceoff advantage. With the win, the Wolves notched their second straight league win, improving to 5-6 overall and 2-0 in LEC play. Southern Maine dropped to 2-8 and 0-2.
The Wolves return to action for another LEC tilt at Vermont State University Castleton on Saturday at 7 p.m.
