Cameron Gallon (York, Pa.) tallied a game-high 26 points while classmate guard
Keeshawn Jones (Middletown, N.Y.) continued his red-hot shooting with 21 to lift the Western Connecticut State University men's basketball team to an 89-65 victory over visiting Little East Conference foe Plymouth State University on Saturday afternoon at Feldman Arena.

Quintin Chapman (Danbury, Conn.) came off the bench to rip down a team-high nine rebounds, while sophomore guard
C.J. Riley (Yonkers, N.Y.) racked up a game-high four steals for the Wolves.Â
Senior guard Kevin Henry (Stratham, N.H) paced the Panthers with 19 points while senior forward Kevin Newton-Delgado (Hopkinton, N.H.) chipped in with a game-high 13 boards.
WestConn used the defensive trapping to force 27 turnovers while committing just 18. It was a contest filled with fouls as 53 were tallied. The Wolves sank 32 free throws while the Panthers managed only 21.
The visitors got off to a fast start en route to a 17-11 advantage. However, the hosts answered to seize a 42-33 lead when Jones hit a mid-range shot just before the halftime buzzer.
WestConn quickly added to the lead in the second stanza. Gallon put home an offensive putback, extending the gap to 56-35 with just over 15 minutes remaining. It was all Wolves as they cruised the rest of the way.
With the win, WestConn racked up its sixth straight win over Plymouth, improving to 10-8 overall and 6-3 in LEC play, while the Panthers plummeted to 9-8 and 3-6. The Wolves will seek to put together a win streak when they head to UMass Boston on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
