Megan Biase joined the WestConn women's lacrosse coaching staff in the fall of 2024. Biase played collegiately at Wingate University and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from there in 2023. Biase was a goalkeeper for the Bulldogs and collected 520 career saves with a 9.75 GAA in her career. She holds the all-time Wingate record for lowest GAA and goalie wins. A four-year captain and four-time all-conference selection, Biase helped the Bulldogs win their first three South Atlantic Conference titles, earn their first-ever national top-ten ranking and qualify for their first-ever NCAA Tournament. Biase was statistically the top goalie in the nation in 2023, posting 6.57 GAA with a 5.22 save percentage. She was titled the 2021 SAC Defensive Player of the Year, All-Region twice, and was recognized as an All-American by Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and USA Lacrosse magazine following her last two seasons.
