Emily Cintorino, a 2016 WestConn graduate, joins the Western Connecticut State University softball staff in the fall of 2024. Cintorino is a former WestConn pitcher with 41 career wins and helped the Wolves win Little East Conference (LEC) championship titles in 2013 and 2016. She was the LEC Pitcher of the Year in 2015 and was on the LEC All-Conference First Team in both 2015 and 2016. Cintorino, who earned her law degree from Western New England University in 2020, comes back to WestConn from Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, Connecticut, where she was the team's pitching coach. Sacred Heart advanced to the Connecticut Class M State Championship in 2023.
