Carole Allers is an accomplished assistant coach and adjunct professor, dedicated to maximizing performance in both sports and academics through a holistic approach.  At the age of 45, she became a full-time student-athlete at Western Connecticut State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2018 and a master’s degree in addiction studies with distinction in 2020. As a standout player on the women’s tennis team, Allers was the captain for three seasons. Her athletic achievements include being named to the Little East Conference All-Academic Team and earning All-Conference honors in both singles and doubles from 2016 to 2018. In recognition of her excellence in athletics and academics, she was honored as Western’s Athlete of the Year in 2018.

Beyond tennis, Allers has a background in soccer officiating. From 2007 to 2020, she served as a US Soccer official, instructor, and mentor, where she identified and nurtured high-performing youth referees, guiding them to national-level competency. Her leadership in this area was recognized in 2015 when she was named CT Assessor of the Year.  Allers combines her diverse experiences in athletics and education to empower individuals and teams to reach their full potential, inspiring resilience and excellence both on and off the field.
