Western Connecticut State University has hired Bryce Charney as an assistant men's basketball coach for the 2026-27 season. Charney comes to WestConn from Albertus Magnus College, where he was served as a men's basketball assistant in 2025-26. Charney is a 2024 graduate of Quinnipiac University where he earned a bachelor's degree in sport management. He also owns a master's degree in management and organizational leadership from Albertus Magnus and has earned a Sports Management Worldwide NIL Certificate and a Basketball GM & Scouting certificate. Charney was a gameday operations assistant for the men's and women's basketball programs while an undergraduate at Quinnipiac, and is a scouting correspondent with New England Recruiting Report.
