    Assistant Volleyball Coach
Abbi Debes joined the Western Connecticut State University women's volleyball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025.  Debes has been the head girls' volleyball coach at Brookfield High School since 2023 and the head boys' volleyball coach at Newtown High School since 2024.  She also coaches the CT Stars club volleyball team.  Debes is a graduate of WestConn with a bachelor's degree in graphic design and photography.  She was a two-time, all-conference volleyball player for the Wolves and earned All-Region honors as a senior.
