Shannon Anderson (New Milford, Conn.) was honored as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her outstanding play in Wolves wins at St. Joseph (Conn.) and Sage and versus league rival Plymouth State.
Anderson totaled 10 points on four goals and two assists in a 3-0-0 week for the Wolves. She had a goal in WestConn's 4-1 non-conference win at St. Joseph (Conn.) before she netted the lone marker in a 1-0 non-conference victory at Sage. Anderson capped the week totaling two goals and two assists to lead the Wolves to a 4-1 league victory against Plymouth State on Saturday.Â
