With the loss, the Wolves campaign came to an end at 5-20 overall and 3-13 in Little East Conference play, while the Corsairs improved to 20-4 and 13-2, claiming the league regular season crown and the top seed in the LEC Championship Tournament.
Carly Whiteside led the hosts with a game-high 30 points on a red-hot 12-of-14 shooting performance. Four other Corsairs would join her in double figures.
UMass Darmouth took command early and held a 29-8 lead to end the opening quarter. The Wolves fought back in the second but the advantage was too much to overcome as the Corsairs would cruise the rest of the way.
Rencher finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds. WestConn will look move in a strong and positive direction during the 2025-26 campaign.
