Felicity Fuller (Colorado Springs, Colo.) improved six strokes from round one to round two to climb to 20th on the leaderboard, as the Western Connecticut State University Wolves completed the second and final round of the inaugural Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Golf Championship Tournament this afternoon at Valley Country Club. WestConn, in its second year as a varsity program, finished seventh as a squad in the team standings, while Keene State won the team title.
Fuller shot a 111 on Thursday and a 105 today to total 216 for the tournament. WestConn junior
Grace King (New Milford, Conn.) was 20th on the leaderboard after the opening round, firing a 108 on Thursday and shot a 112 today to finish at 220 and in 21st place. Wolves junior
Kaelin Giddings (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) shot up from a 132 yesterday to shoot a 116 today and finish 29th at 248 and freshman
Mackenzie Day (New Hudson, Mich.) shot a120 on Thursday.
