PROVIDENCE, R.I. - In back-to-back weeks, Nickolas Santana (New Haven, Conn.) was named Little East Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the Western Connecticut State University men's soccer team, while Ernesto Barrosa (Madison, Conn.) collected Rookie of the Week for the first time this season.

Santana scored two goals in a 1-1-0 week for the Wolves, and has now scored in five straight games to raise his team-leading total to 16 goals on the season. He scored the first goal in both contests, a 3-2 non-conference setback at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a 3-2 come-from-behind win at LEC-rival Rhode Island College. 

Barrosa scored at 86:30 to give the Wolves a dramatic 3-2 come-from-behind victory at RIC on Saturday. It was his second goal of the season and first game-winner. He only played just eight minutes with two shots on goal to come out as the hero for the Wolves.
