DANBURY, Conn. - The Western Connecticut State University Wolves raced in the 2024 Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Cross Country Championship Meet this afternoon on the Robert Dowd Course at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  Junior Annalee Holcomb (New Milford, Conn.) was the fastest WestConn runner, finishing the 5,000-mete course in 24:06.30 and finishing 67th among all individuals.  Classmate Alexandra O'Meara (Wolcott, Conn.) was 72nd at 24:39.71 and senior Summer Smith (Bethel, Conn.) was 75th at 25:36.21 for the Wolves.  Keene State won the team title with 28 points.  WestConn will compete in the NCAA Division III Regional Championships at Harkness State Park in Waterford, Conn. on Saturday, November 16.
